Food Drive

B2B is again acting as a food drive for the Idaho Foodbank. Please bring canned goods or a non-perishable items to Bronco Stadium.

The collection barrels will be located at the 10k shuttle area and in the NE corner of the east parking lot near the gate you will enter onto the grass field. Please deposit your food items at those locations.

The Race

10K – 9:30am Starts on Old Eckert Rd. (closed portion along greenbelt north of Barber Park). We will congregate inside Barber Park then walk to the start line at 9:20.10K Map

5K – 9:50am Starts on Chavez Ln near Caven Williams fieldhouse. 5K Map

The course may possibly be part dirt.  A construction project which was to have been done in September was pushed to the past 10 days.  It was to be completed before B2B, but the rain has delayed them.

There are two scenarios:

The existing greenbelt in Julia Davis will be pulverized to gravel and compacted before the race and we will be good and have some nice dirt surface to run on.

The path is rendered useless and we will adjust slightly.

Announcements will be made at the start line if the course will be different.

The changes:

You will still follow the greenbelt to Ann Morrison and cross the bridge.
You will return towards Julia Davis

At the Ann Frank Memorial you will go left, continuing left onto the old rail bridge.
You will turn left back on to the greenbelt and proceed to the stadium.

If this does become the course, we ask that all walkers pinch down to one lane (there will be cones) at the 8th Street Bridge underpass to make room for the lead runners.

NO DOGS ALLOWED - due to BSU stadium policy, no dogs (other than service dogs) are allowed inside fo the stadium.
Due to Central District Health regulations, no dogs are allowed in the breakfast area.

STROLLERS - strollers are allowed, but are asked to start in the back as to not create an obstacle. Please be aware that your stroller may not fit through the finish chute after you cross the line. Volunteers will help you.

Please help us in the finish chute. When you are approaching the end, either remove your chip or be prepared to present your foot to a volunteer so it can be quickly removed and we can keep traffic moving.

The Finish

B2B is again finishing inside of Bronco Stadium.

Shuttle to 10k Start/Stadium Parking

Parking:  east side of Bronco Stadium will be filled first, then west lot. Attendants will be on hand to direct you.

Shuttle:
10k participants ONLY.

Shuttles will be located in front of the Varsity Center...find the 8 school buses and you can't go wrong.

Shuttle buses arrive at 7:45am. We would like the first bus to depart at 8:00am.

Last shuttle will leave BSU at 9:00am.

NOTE – Shuttles will not take participants back to the start line after the event.

10k Start Waves

10k start was broken into 4 waves based on estimated finish time:

A = 27:00min - 50:59
B = 51:00min - 60:59 (or until full)
C = 61:00-73:59
D = 74:00+

Your bib and timing tag are issued and programmed based on your start wave. If you are assigned to B wave and move to A wave, your official time will be 2min slower.

PLEASE stay in your assigned wave. All age group awards are determined by time.
To win top 3 overall awards, you must have been assigned to A wave.

At the finish, for your purposes subtract the following amount of time from the finish clock:

A = 0
B = 2min
C = 4min
D = 6min

Your official time will reflect the start time programmed for the start wave you were assigned to.

The Course

Please visit the course page to review a map and description of each course. 10K –
Mile markers will be chalked on the greenbelt and posted on signage. When turning at the stadium, please keep flagging on your right.
PLEASE follow the chalk arrows, they really will keep you from going the wrong way!
Water stations will be at approximately 2.5 miles and 4.2 miles
5K –
Mile markers will be posted.
PLEASE follow the chalk arrows.
Water station will be located at approximately 1.5 miles

Clothing Return

A bag (and a sticker for your name and bib#) will be available for you at each Start line to place any clothing items in.  We’ll get that back to the Finish area for you.  If you choose to utilize this service, please do not place any valuables in the bag, Barber to Boise, Rhyno Racing or any B2B sponsors, volunteers or affiliates will not be responsible for the loss of any items.
Bags will be placed at the Finish area on the football field..  You are responsible for claiming your own bag.

Recycling

There will be ample recycling containers at the Finish area for co-mingled items. PLEASE RECYCLE!

Post Race Pancake Breakfast

After your run, there will be a yummy pancake breakfast! Enjoy some great pancakes, fruit, juice and water while we hand out awards and listento the music.

If you purchased additional tickets to the breakfast, those will be clipped to your bib number. If you did purchase tickets, we strongly suggest coming to packet pikcup Friday to get all of your items and prevent any problems of getting those to your friends and family on Saturday morning...especially 10k'ers!

NO FOOD ALLOWED ON TURF.
Please keep all food in the breakfast area...no food allowed other than on the grass field.

Post Race Concert

We will be having a live music starting around 10:30. Make your way to the breakfast area...look for a bunch of tables and the big tent located in the grass field at the north end of the stadium.
Barber to Boise is very excited to bring you Scars on 45, courtesy of AT&T and 94.9 The River.
